Goose smashes through windshield, bites driver on highway

A motorist got quite a fright on the A15 near Dodewaard on Tuesday morning when a goose flew straight through his van's windshield. Both goose and driver escaped the bizarre accident with only minor injuries. The goose was knocked unconscious by the blow, but awoke a few minutes later. It bit the driver several times and then flew away. According to one road side inspector, the driver is doing well. In addition to a number of goose bites, he sustained only a few minor cuts.
