Street newspaper seller stops Rotterdam jewellery store robber

A street newspaper seller in Rotterdam managed to overpower a jewelry store robber on Tuesday afternoon. The robber entered the jewelry store on Hoogstraat around 5:00 p.m., according to newspaper AD. He jumped over the counter, snatched some jewelry and ran out again. The owners tried to stop him. The newspaper seller saw, intervened and managed to overpower the robber with the help of a passerby. The robber was arrested.
