Janet Jackson schedules Amsterdam tour date

o She will also play at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium on May 3. It is Jackson's first tour since the 2011 series "Number Ones, Up Close and Personal." It will be her first tour stop in the Netherlands in over 15 years, when she visited Rotterdam and Arnhem on "The Velvet Rope Tour." The current tour was prompted by the release of Jacksons’ new album, “Unbreakable”, which was released in October. Concert goers should not expect the well-documented sexuality and outfits that the singer had donned in the past, as themes of her on-stage antics have simmered down since her conversion to Islam in 2012. Tickets for the Amsterdam show went on sale on Ticketmaster Friday morning, and were not sold out by 5:45 p.m.
