Indonesian twins look to Dutch island for adopted brother

Twin sisters from Indonesia are looking for their biological brother on Facebook. All three siblings were adopted as babies. The two sisters, Emilie and Lyn, found each other in Sweden three and a half years ago. Now they are searching for their brother, a search that led them to Ameland. According to the picture the sisters shared through social media, their brother was adopted from Semarang, Indonesia, is now about 37 years old and his birth name was Heru. "We believe he is in the Netherlands, but he could be anywhere. Please share!" The call reached Heru Metz, who was adopted from Indonesia when he was four months old and is currently living in Ameland, RTL Nieuws reports. He is not completely convinced that he is their brother, but thought it was worth checking into and sent a message to the twins. "I'm 32, not 37, but hey, you don't know for sure how certain they are about the age." he said to RTL. "But I do want to cooperate. We will have to do a DNA test." The birthplace also does not match exactly. Heru thinks he was born in Tegal, and not Semarang. But they are neighbor cities. So far he has never really been curious about his birth family, he said. His adoptive family has always been enough family for him. "I do not know much about my heritage. But now that it is so close, it is starting to itch."
