Search called off for crane collapse victims
The search action after the accident with collapsing cranes in Alphen aan den Rijn on Monday has been called off. Two cranes and a large section of bridge collapsed on four properties No further victims have been found.
The Urban Search and Rescue Team searched several buildings with two teams and five dogs. A spokesperson told NOS that he can't 100 percent rule out that bodies will be found during the clean up, but he is almost certain that no one was killed in the accident and no one has been reported missing. The teams were able to search the buildings properly "The situation was quite clear", he said.

According to the fire department, one injured man was removed from under debris with hip complaints. A dog was also found, but the animal was already dead.
Residents of 51 homes had to find somewhere else to sleep on Monday night. It is not clear how many people this involves exactly, but according the broadcaster, more than 400 people reported to the reception point in the Goede Herder church.
A spokesperson for the fire department told the Telegraaf that they will be working on a plan to clean up the fallen cranes and debris on Tuesday morning. They intend to hand the plan to the municipality by 9:00 a.m.
