Ex-cop on chokehold death: Cop knew he killed victim

A former police officer has given a statement in the investigation into the suspected choke hold death of Wensly Udenhout in Amsterdam in 2013. According to the former officer, the cop who used the choke hold on Udenhout - a dog handler - knew that the Surinamese man was killed by his actions from the start. "A few hours after the death of Udenhout the dog handler said in his immediate vicinity that he killed the victim." the ex Amssterdam cop said to the Telegraaf on Monday. "He used the words: 'I choked him until he was limp.' He knew very well what his actions caused." According to the former officer, the dog handler has also been using prohibited substances for years that makes him very aggressive.
