Students nabbed in counterfeit cash scam
Four minors have been arrested for selling counterfeit money to students of secondary schools in Doetinchem.
These suspects sold notes of 50 euros for 20 euros each, AD reports. At least 10 of these fake 50 euro notes were spent on June 4th.
According to the police, the students are from Metzo College and Ludger College in Doetinchem. Hans Alley, director of Metzo College, confirmed to the AD that two of the school's students are involved in the issue.
The arrested minors have been questioned and let go. The police are investigating the case.
