A police officer was stabbed in his leg in his leg by a deranged man in The Hague early on Wednesday morning. The suspect was shot. The incident happened around 05:00 a.m. The police received a report of a quarrel between two people and found the man walking down the street with the knife. The circumstances that led up to the shooting is unclear. A spokesperson for the police told RTL Nieuws that the police officer was not seriously injured, but would not comment on the condition of the deranged man.
