Man, 45, dies after shooting in The Hague; Two suspects arrested
A 45-year-old man died in the hospital after being shot in The Hague earlier this week. The police have arrested two suspects and are investigating.
The shooting happened at around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday on Soestdijkseplein. First responders rushed the injured man to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
Shortly after the shooting, the police arrested a 28-year-old man from The Hague. Another suspect, a 51-year-old local, was arrested on Wednesday morning. Both men are in custody for questioning.
According to the police, the three men were together in a café on Soestdijkseplein before the shooting. The café is temporarily closed in consultation with the owner, the police said.
The investigation is ongoing, and more arrests may follow.
