Suspect in robbery that left two dead back in court

Zakaria G., one of the people suspected of involvement in the robbery at jewelry store Goldies in Deurne, will be reappearing in the court in Den Bosch today. Zakaria G. (27) is in custody on suspicion of involvement in the robbery, Omroep Brabant reports. In the previous session in court it was revealed that one of the robbers lived with G. for two months. There was also regular telephone contact between the robbers and G. Statements from acquaintances also state that G. knew that the jewelry store was going to be robbed. Two robbers, Abdel H. (20) and Youssef F. (29), were killed in the robbery on March 28th last year. They were shot by the jewelry store owner's wife, who was in the back office of the store watching her husband being doused with pepper spray and held at gunpoint on the security camera video feed. She grabbed her husband's loaded firearm and fired at the robbers through a slightly open doorway. Prosecutors chose not to charge the wife.
