Netherlands 4G speeds often meets expectations: Consumer assoc.

KPN, T-Mobile and Vodafone mostly managed to provide 4G coverage in accordance with their promises. This was shown by samples taken by the Consumer Association (Consumentenbond). The measured speed of connection provided by KPN and Vodafone is high, although the announced speed is not always reached. T-Mobile makes no promises concerning the 4G speed. The Consumer Association recommends customers not to rely on the promised internet speed, and to take a good look on the coverage maps of the providers before choosing a subscription. The Consumer Association took samples at 149 locations spread throughout the Netherlands. Those were urban areas, small villages and ‘problem zones’ indicated by providers on their coverage maps.
