Two of four jihad suspects end hunger strike

Two of the four jihad suspects who have been on a hunger strike since Sunday, have started eating again. At least one of the four is still on the hunger strike, his lawyer said today. The four are imprisoned in the terrorists department of the penitentiary institution in Vught. They do not agree with the strict regime of the department. For example they are kept separate from each other and are subjected to a search when they have had a visitor. The two who have started eating again find that the concessions the management made is enough. The inmates are now allowed to spend their recreation time together and to do the Friday prayer together. A third suspect, the one who did recruiting for the jihad suspect Azzedine C. (better known as Abou Moussa) in The Hague, feels that the concessions are not sufficient, his lawyer André Seebregts said. It is not clear whether the fourth suspect is continuing his hunger strike.
