Rotterdam man found in home likely murdered

The police found the body of a 56 year old Rotterdam resident in Bredenoord on Friday night. An autopsy revealed that the man was possibly murdered. The victim was last seen alive on December 10th, two days before his body was discovered. The police immediately launched a large-scale investigation. The Forensic Investigation team did an extensive trace evidence investigation at the home. The police are also talking to witnesses and viewing camera images. The police are calling on all potential witnesses to come forward. They would like to come into contact with anyone who saw anything suspicious around the property in Bredenoord between last Wednesday and Friday as well as anyone who may have other information that could contribute to the investigation.
