Pirate Party hacked

The Dutch Pirate Party has been hacked. The intruder had access to, among other things, the database with the membership records and files from the party's website. The hack took place during a general meeting. After the hack the Pirate Party website was offline for some time. "If actual data was downloaded from the membership database is still under investigation at this time, but we can not rule out that this data has been accessed and downloaded." the party writes on its website. The consequences of the hack are being investigated. Site users are advised to change their passwords.
