Burning body found in Boxtel

A human body was found on fire this morning in Boxtel and police suspect a crime. Reports are that the burning body was discovered around 7.00am by someone walking his dog at Molenwijkseweg. The man immediately called police, but by time officers and firefighters arrived on the scene and doused the fire, the victim was dead. It is not clear if the victim was still alive when the fire was discovered. Police say they found two shoes on the scene, but it was not clear if they belonged. Neither was it clear if it was a man or woman. Police say that, “considering the circumstances”, they think the burning body was crime related. A spokesman declined to give more information about the specific circumstances. The area was cordoned off and police said that the investigation would take hours.
