Shooting leads to rail shutdown, chaos for football fans

The train traffic between Amsterdam and Utrecht came to a stand still after a shooting incident in the parking lot of the McDonald's next to the station of Breukelen. The shooting incident occurred at about 20:00 when two suspects robbed at least two people in the parking lot. The police closed down the Breukelen station and the McDonalds for the investigation, causing the train traffic between Amsterdam and Utrecht to come to a stand still. This caused quite a bit of chaos in the Bijlmer Arena station for football fans trying to get home after the match between the Netherlands and Mexico. After a search of about an hour, the police arrested the two suspects. Trains started riding again at about 23:45. https://twitter.com/JorisBerkhof/status/532663625761452032
