Car bomb used in Almere gang fight

The car of the two men who were involved in a shootout in Almere on Saturday, was forced to stop by car bomb. After the explosion, the two men were shot at from a dark BMW. It is not yet clear what explosive was used. According to the police, the shooting was an assassination attempt. The two 26 year old men in the car were acquaintances of the murdered crime boss Gwenette Martha. They have previously been linked to executions in the Amsterdam underworld. The pair suddenly heard a bang. When the car came to a stop, the pair were fired upon. The men fled into the bushes, one of them was slightly injured. The perpetrators drove away and threatened a witness with their firearm on the A6. The BMW was found burnt out in Muiderberg. This is the second car bomb to be used within a week. Edwin K., a possible drug dealer, was injured when his car was bombed in Veghel on Friday.
