Woman arrested for 1100 calls to emergency line

On Wednesday morning the police arrested a 49 year old woman from Boxmeer for the frequent misuse of emergency line 112. Since August this year the woman has called the emergency number more than 1,100 times for no reason. The woman is confused and has been referred to counselors many times by the police. Despite this, the calls have not stopped. The police, along with aid workers, are looking for a solution.
