Bassie the Clown’s house fire damage est. at €100k

Last month, a fire ravaged the home of Bas van Toor, known as Bassie the clown from the television show Bassie en Adriaan. The damage from that fire has been estimated at €100,000, HLN reports. The fire started in the kitchen, and completely ruined the kitchen. The rest of the old house in Vlaardingen was also damaged. Firemen were able to bring the blaze under control rather quickly. Bas van Toor (78) and his wife had to move into the basement. It will still take a while before the house is back to normal.
