Details emerge about Monster Truck Victims, driver

Out of respect and sympathy for the victims of the monster truck accident yesterday, Haaksbergen gave very little information about their backgrounds. According to various media sources the deceased victims are a 5 year old boy and a 50 year old man from Haaksbergen. A 73 year old woman died of her wounds in the hospital last night. The 8 year old sister of the deceased boy is in critical condition at the academic hospital in Groningen. 22 other people were also injured. The municipality would not confirm these details saying that the put the needs of the survivors and the privacy of the victims first, AD.nl reports. Mayor Hans Gerritsen prompted the local event organizers who brought the monster trucks to Haaksbergen to remain silent. The stuntshow is cared for by the the family business King on Wheels from Vijfhuizen. Father, mother, daughter, son and some other stunt drivers work for the company.
