Eleven weed farms cleared, Brabant

Police in Brabant have dismantled eleven cannabis farms. Around 2700 plants have been confiscated, and six suspects have been arrested, including two Bulgarians. The police swarmed properties in Etten-Leur, Breda, Bergen op Zoom, Nieuw-Vossemeer, Kaatsheuvel and Tilburg. Along with the marijuana plants, an expensive car was also possessed.

The police and the municipalities are trying to work together on an operation to push back marijuana farms in Brabant. "These plantations often cause odor nuisance, produce fire hazards and above all, there is a heavy relation with organized crime, violence, robberies, attacks, scams and assassinations", the police say.
