200 Threatening Tweets Every Day

The Netherlands receives 35,000 threatening Tweets every day. About 200 are so serious that police checks them very closely, according to a news report by Volkskrant. Martine Fish, deputy police chief of the Rotterdam police and responsible for social media, said that almost every day, a Twitterer is arrested or gets a warning about a threat made via social media.
