Video: Ten homes evacuated after warehouse fire in The Hague

A large fire broke out at a storage warehouse on Van Ostadestraat in the Schilderswijk neighborhood of The Hague early Sunday, forcing the evacuation of about ten nearby homes.

The fire began shortly after 1 a.m., sending thick smoke into the surrounding area. Emergency services responded immediately, with firefighters arriving in large numbers.

A spokesperson for the fire department confirmed the blaze is now under control. Residents who had been evacuated were allowed to return to their homes later Sunday morning.

No injuries were reported in connection with the fire, and authorities say the situation is stable. Firefighters remain on site conducting cleanup and inspecting the warehouse to ensure there are no remaining dangers.
