Police investigate nighttime burglary in Groningen

Police responded early Sunday night to a reported burglary on Nico Rostlaan in Groningen, RTV Noord reports.

Officers arrived after a resident discovered that a window in the balcony door on the first floor had been smashed.

According to police, the suspect may have escaped through a construction site located behind the house.

It remains unclear whether anything was stolen. Authorities have not released further details about the investigation.
