Woman dies after car collides sideways with truck in Giessen
A woman died Saturday morning in a serious traffic accident in Giessen, Noord-Brabant. At around 11 a.m., her car collided sideways with a truck on the N267, resulting in a fatal crash, Hart van Nederland reports.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, with the fire department setting up privacy screens at the scene and a trauma helicopter dispatched to assist. Despite efforts to resuscitate her, the woman died at the scene from her injuries.
The truck driver was reportedly visibly shaken and was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation. Police have launched a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to the collision.
