Motorcycle crash in Bergentheim kills woman, leaves man critically injured

A 55-year-old woman died Saturday night in Bergentheim after a motorcycle crashed on the Van Roijensweg, police said.

The accident occurred around 22.00 and involved no other vehicles, according to De Telegraaf. Authorities described it as a single-vehicle crash.

The woman, who was riding as a passenger, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The 57-year-old man operating the motorcycle was seriously hurt in the collision. Emergency services transported him to a hospital for treatment. Police said the incident remains under investigation.
