Man arrested for suspicious death of his partner in Naaldwijk

A 31-year-old man in Naaldwijk has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the death of his 32-year-old partner. The police found the woman’s body at 6:45 a.m. in a home on the Hoge Noordweg in Naaldwijk. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the circumstances were “suspicious,” which led to the man being arrested at the home.

The cause of death is still unknown. “Investigation has not been able to rule out a crime at this stage,” the Public Prosecution Service said.

The man was brought before the examining magistrate on Tuesday, who extended his pre-trial detention by 14 days. The investigation into the death is still ongoing.
