Police arrest a 30-year-old man for shooting in Rotterdam on Monday
Police arrested a 30-year-old man on Wednesday afternoon in connection with a shooting in Rotterdam last Monday night. A 27-year-old man was seriously injured at the shooting on the Sluiskreek in the Rotterdam neighborhood of IJsselmonde.
The suspect has no permanent residence or place of residence. He is suspected of being involved in the incident.
The victim had to be resuscitated on the street on Monday before he was taken to the hospital. On Tuesday, the police released a description of a suspect based on statements from witnesses. It was said to be a boy with dark skin and black clothing. This suspect has not yet been arrested.
“This investigation will continue unabated, and the police are still looking for witnesses,” said the police on Wednesday.
