Minor girl dies in accident on Lochem motorcycle circuit

An underage girl has died in a "fatal accident" on a motocross track on the Kanaaldijk in Lochem, Gelderland. The police confirmed this after reports from Omroep Gelderland. The young victim crashed on Saturday, but the police would not give any further details about the circumstances of the accident.

According to local media, the girl, who was taking part in a training session on the circuit by Motor and Autoclub Sport en Vriendschap (MAC SEV) was taken to hospital by an emergency helicopter after the accident. However, it is unclear when she died, Omroep Gelderland reported.

Police investigated the scene of the accident and also inspected the girl's vehicle. On Sunday, the police announced that the investigation revealed that it was indeed a fatal accident.
