Missing Dutch tourist found dead in ravine on Greek island of Samos
The 74-year-old Dutchman who has been missing on the Greek island of Samos since Sunday was found dead on Saturday morning, AD reported. According to Greek media, the man was found in a ravine with the help of a drone.
Drones, helicopters, and a boat have been used for several days to search for the missing Dutchman. At the family's request, the Signi Search Dogs team was also deployed as part of the search party. However, the search remained unsuccessful until Saturday. The man's body was found in Limniona, 300 meters away from a cave where the 74-year-old was last seen, AD wrote.

The Dutchman went for a walk alone and never returned. Reportedly, he left from Marathokampos, in the southwest of the island. His wife reported him missing on Sunday, June 9.
A police spokesperson told Reuters that the Dutchman had been staying on the island since May. A woman told a local newspaper that she saw the tourist in the Klima area on Sunday afternoon, adding that he was walking on a particularly challenging route.
On Sunday, British TV presenter Michael Mosley was found dead on another Greek island, Symi. He went missing after taking a walk alone in the heat. His body was found four days after his disappearance.
