Hague man dies after shooting at Rotterdam cafe
A 32-year-old man from The Hague died on Sunday after getting critically injured in a shooting on Woplhaertsbocht in Rotterdam during the early hours of Saturday. The police have a suspect in custody.
The shooting happened outside Cafe ‘t Half Uurtje, according to photos from the scene. The emergency services received a report of a shooting at around 3:05 a.m. on Saturday and responded with multiple units.
They found the wounded man on the street. First responders resuscitated him at the scene and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
The police launched an investigation and searched for the perpetrators. Early on Sunday morning, the police arrested a 35-year-old man with no registered place of residence in a home in Rotterdam Oost. He is suspected of involvement in the shooting. The police are still investigating whether he was the actual gunman.
