
One killed, one hurt in Tilburg home fire
One person was killed and another injured in a fire in a home on Bieslookweg in Tilburg, Noord-Brabant on Monday evening. The fire likely started in the attic of the terraced house, a police spokesperson said to Omroep Brabant.
The two victims, who lived in the house, were rescued from the home. One succumbed to their injuries, the other was taken to hospital. There were more people in the home when the fire started. They managed to get outside unharmed.
The extent of the injured person's injuries is unknown. The police did not reveal the victims' identities.
The fire brigade quickly got the fire under control. The police are investigating how it started.
