Spanish police arrest Dutch man posing as African diplomat

The Spanish police arrested a 40-year-old Dutch man in Marbella who was wanted for assault. He tried to avoid his arrest by posing as a diplomat from the Central African Republic, the Telegraaf reports.

The police confronted the man because he matched the description of a Dutch man who was wanted for assault. The man presented a document that looked like a diplomatic passport from the Central African Republic, saying that he could not be arrested because he has diplomatic immunity.

Closer inspection showed that the passport was fake.
