Body found at missing man's car

The police found a body near the IJssel between Brummen and Zutphen on Wednesday afternoon. The body was found near a car belonging to Nico Nijman from Zutphen, who has been missing since April 24th, Omroep Gelderland reports.

The police are in the process of identifying the body, which was found at around 1:00 p.m. It is therefore not yet clear whether it is the 57-year-old missing Zutphen man.

The area was cordoned off for police investigation.
