Shooting in Amsterdam Nieuw-West leaves one hurt

A person was injured in a shooting on Rousseaustraat in Amsterdam Nieuw-West on Tuesday evening, the police said on Twitter.

The victim was taken to hospital. The person was conscious and not in critical condition, the police said according to Het Parool.

The shooting happened on the street. So far nothing is known about the circumstances surrounding it. The police are investigating.
