At least two perpetrators sought in Amsterdam shooting

At least two perpetrators were involved in an attempted assassination at a coffee shop in the popular Amsterdam-Zuid district of De Pijp last week, a police spokesperson said to AT5.

The shooting happened at around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday at coffee shop Today on Dusartstraat. Three people were injured, one seriously. The seriously hurt victim was still in critical condition in hospital on Saturday.

The coffee shop was closed on Friday by order of Amsterdam mayor Femke Halsema.

The police are looking for witnesses. So far no arrests were made.
