Dutch Prosecutor again tries to ban Hells Angels
The Public Prosecutor is making another attempt to ban motorcycle club Hells Angels. The Prosecutor considers the Hells Angels to be an outlaw motorcycle gang whose members believe themselves above the law, NOS reports.
Along with a request to the civil court in Midden-Nederland to ban and dissolve the Hells Angels in the Netherlands, the Prosecutor submitted a file of hundreds of pages describing the criminal activities of the club and its members.
Last year the Prosecutor successfully managed to ban the Bandidos in the Netherlands. Similar cases is also ongoing against Satudarah and No Surrender.
The Prosecutor already tried to ban the Hells Angels, but in 2009 nine the Supreme Court ruled that the club can not be banned because the Prosecutor's evidence was insufficient to prove that the club is a criminal organization.
