The Spanish police arrested an alleged Dutch criminal organization for drug trafficking in Alicante. Four Dutch men between the ages of 44 and 56 were arrested for possessing more than 100 kilograms of cannabis, 550 cannabis plants, a firearm and large sums of money, RTL Nieuws reports based on reports in Spanish media.
Organizations in the Netherlands that promote a threat to the democratic way of life in the Netherlands should be more easily banned from operation in the country, said Sander Dekker, the Minister for Legal Protection. He introduced legislation on Friday to contravene "radical or extremist organizations" which "seriously threaten society or wish to overthrow legal order," the Ministry of Justice and Security said in a statement.
In the investigation into the criminal organization allegedly run by Ridouan Taghi, who was arrested in Dubai on Monday, the Dutch police raided eight homes and arrested six people on Tuesday night. The suspects are five men and a woman between the ages of 29 and 45 years, the police said on Wednesday.

The Central Netherlands court in Utrecht issued a ban of the outlaw motorcycle gang Hells Angels in the Netherlands. That makes the Netherlands the first country in the world to completely ban the Hells Angels, according to broadcaster NOS. Other countries, including Germany, banned local chapters, but not the entire club.
Criminal organizations have approached 15 percent of Dutch farmers to offer them money in exchange for free-standing sheds or stalls so that a drug lab can be built there, Trouw reports based on a poll conducted by Geleen Consultancy.

On Monday the court in The Hague banned motorcycle club Satudarah throughout the Netherlands. According to the court, the continued existence of Satudarah constitutes a threat to public order and the immediate disbandment of the motorcycle club is therefore necessary, NU.nl reports.
Two Satudarah support clubs, called Saudarah and Supportcrew 999, were also banned by the court. The third support club Yellow Snakes can continue to exist, because the court did not find it conclusively proven that this club is part of Satudarah.
The Public Prosecutor is making another attempt to ban motorcycle club Hells Angels. The Prosecutor considers the Hells Angels to be an outlaw motorcycle gang whose members believe themselves above the law, NOS reports.
Along with a request to the civil court in Midden-Nederland to ban and dissolve the Hells Angels in the Netherlands, the Prosecutor submitted a file of hundreds of pages describing the criminal activities of the club and its members.
Esther Paul, the woman whose body was found in the Veluwemeer on April 30th, was in hiding at a campsite in Biddinghuizen a few days before her death. The police would not comment on why the 43-year-old woman from Almere was in hiding, but can say that she was still alive around 5:00 p.m. on April 29th.
