Road rage incident: two hurt, seven in custody

A road rage incident following an accident got completely out of hand in Oss on Saturday night. Two people were taken to hospital with stab wounds in their legs, and seven people were arrested, AD reports.

Around 9:00 p.m. on Willibrordusweg, a car crashed into the fence and hedge of a home. The residents were not home at the time.

After the accident, there was a fight. The police responded to the scene and found three people. One had stab wounds in one leg and was taken to hospital, after which he was arrested. The other two people were also arrested. These three people were in the car that crashed into the fence.

On Joannes Zwijsenlaan, the police arrested another four people. One of them also had stab wounds in one leg, and was first taken to hospital before being arrested.

What caused the fight is not yet clear. The police are investigating.

The suspects are three men from Druten aged 20, 20 and 21 years, two men from Rotterdam aged 22 and 34, a 23-year-old man from Delft, and a 23-year-old person without a permanent place of residence.

The police call on witnesses to come forward.
