Amsterdam man stabbed at Bloemendaal beach party

A 26-year-old man from Amsterdam was seriously injured in a stabbing at a beach party in Bloemendaal on Sunday night. One suspect was arrested.

The stabbing happened at the beach entrance to the boulevard on Zeeweg around 11:30 p.m., Het Parool reports The victim was rushed to hospital in a helicopter. The police arrested a 24-year-old man from Almere.

About an hour before the stabbing, the police also responded to the beach party after a report of shots fired.

The police are investigating.
