Amber Alert issued for kidnapped baby

The police issued an Amber Alert for 6 month old Hannah Simons, who was abducted in front of a Lidl supermarket in Eersel on Monday. The police believe her biological parents - Rowan S. and Kim de L. - are behind the abduction.

Youth services previously removed baby Hannah from her parents' custody, the police revealed.

The abduction happened around 9:00 a.m. at the Lidl supermarket on Nieuwstraat. Hannah's foster mother came out of the supermarket, carrying the baby in a Maxi Cosi, and walked towards the parking lot. The baby was pulled from her foster mother's arms and a man and a woman fled with the child in a black Mercedes with license plate 94-GK-PB.

The police are very concerned about Hannah's safety and call on the public to keep an eye out for the black Mercedes, the baby or her parents.
