De Librije reclaims title of Netherlands best restaurant in Lekker 500 ranking
De Librije restaurant in Zwolle is back on the number one spot of Lekker 500's top restaurants in the Netherlands. Last year's number one, Inter Scaldes in Kruiningen, came in second place this year, NOS reports.
The rest of the top five consists of Ciel Bleu in Amsterdam, De Leest in Vaassen and FG Restaurant in Rotterdam.
Lekker 500 is presenting its complete list with the top 500 restaurants in the Netherlands on Monday. This is the 40th edition of the ranking.
The top 100 mainly consists of restaurants from Noord-Holland, most of which are located in Amsterdam. Zuid-Holland and Noord-Brabant come in second and third place. There are four newcomers in the top 100, according to the broadcaster.
Winning titles for the best restaurant in the Netherlands is not an uncommon experience for De Librije. In January Jonnie and Therese Boer's restaurant was also named best in the Netherlands in the Restaurant Awards 2017. In the global ranking, De Librije comes in 34th.
