Man injured in Rotterdam stabbing

A 22-year-old man was injured in a stabbing on Kruiskade in Rotterdam on Tuesday morning. He was stabbed in the back several times. The victim was taken to hospital, AD reports.

Sources at the police told NOS that the victim is a member of rap band Broederliefde, but according to AD, this does not seem to be the case. There are also rumors that the band was involved in an argument that led up to the stabbing, but the management of Broederliefde denies this.

The stabbing followed an argument between two groups at a nightclub. Around 5:00 a.m. the fight continued in a parking garage on Kruiskade. It escalated, and the victim was stabbed.

The police questioned several witnesses and did a trace evidence investigation. So far no one was arrested.
