High tourist jumps from 3rd floor window in Amsterdam hostel

A 34-year-old tourist jumped through a third floor window in a hostel on Linnaeusstraat in Amsterdam-Oost on Wednesday evening. He was taken to hospital. The man was under the influence of truffles, according to Het Parool.

Emergency services responded to the hostel around 6:10 p.m. A witness saw the tourist jump from the third floor window, landing on a lower roof and then falling to the ground. According to the police, the man was unable to speak with them when he was taken to hospital. The extent of his injuries is unclear.

According to the newspaper, the effects of truffles are similar to that of LSD. The drug disrupts the stimulus transfer in your brain, which makes you look and experience the environment differently.
