Shot fire in Rotterdam road rage incident

A gunshot was fired during a road rage incident in the Rotterdam neighborhood of Crooswijk on Monday, the police said in a statement on Tuesday.

The drivers of two cars became annoyed at each other in Kralingse Bos for an unknown reason. On Boezemstraat, the two drivers decided to fight it out. At one point a third man, a 34-year-old from Rotterdam, got out of one of the cars and joined the fight. Several blows were dealt before one of the men pulled out a firearm and fired it into the air. No one was injured by the gunshot.

The firearm was later found in a garden on Vleeshouwerstraat. The 34-year-old Rotterdam man was arrested, and the police are looking for the other two involved men. The reason behind the incident remains unclear.
