Three arrests in Brabant drug bust

The police found various types of synthetic drugs in a raid at a business property in Boxtel, Noord-Brabant on Wednesday. Three persons were arrested, the Public Prosecutor announced.

The suspects are two men and one woman. They were arrested on Tuesday. According to the Public Prosecutor, the suspects ran a mail-order drugs service. They systematically sold drugs to customers abroad, and then mailed the drugs to them. 

The Netherlands Forensic Institute performed an investigation at the business premises on Duit. Investigators found stocks of powders and pills. Investigation will reveal exactly what substances are involved. 

The police also raided the home of one of the suspects. There too boxes of powders were found. In addition to the powders, the police also confiscated two cars. 

The suspects are in restricted custody, which means they are only allowed contact with their lawyers.
