Summer weather is hitting the Netherlands this week, with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures. In some places in Noord-Brabant and Limburg the thermometers may even hit 30 degrees on Wednesday, according to Weeronline.

On Tuesday temperatures in the Randstad, Zeeland and the middle and east of the country will climb to around 24 degrees. Limburg and Noord-Brabant can expect afternoon temperatures around 25 and 26 degrees - thereby making Tuesday the first summer day [temps above 25 degrees] in the Netherlands in 234 days. The last summer day was on September 25th. The Wadden area and the northern coastal provinces can expect a cooler Tuesday with temperatures between 20 and 22 degrees.

Wednesday will be even warmer. Afternoon temperatures in the Wadden area and northern coastal provinces will climb to between 22 and 24 degrees, in the strip from Zeeland to Drenthe between 25 and 27 degrees and in Noord-Brabant and Limburg between 27 and 29 degrees. A few places in these two provinces may even hit 30 degrees.

Clouds will return to the Netherlands from Wednesday night, making for a cooler Thursday and weekend.
