Amsterdam street shooting leaves one dead
Update 8:15 a.m. : The victim was identified as a 25-year-old man from Amsterdam. According to Het Parool, he has a criminal record, but "not for the type of crimes you'd expect someone to be assassinated over". His family was informed on Wednesday morning.
A shooting in Amsterdam Osdorp let one person dead on Tuesday night. According to the police, one man was gunned down on the street. The victim has not yet been identified. The police are investigating.
The shooting happened on Professor R. Casimirstraat around 10:45 p.m. Police and forensic experts closed down the scene for investigation, which was expected to take all night. A large-scale investigation team was established to find out what exactly happened.

Someone who went out to walk his dog saw two young men with hoodies on the street. They walked away when he tried to approach them. The police were called. Shots were fired a short time later.
