Cyclist sought in murder of Amsterdam woman

The police released surveillance camera footage showing a cyclist wanted in connection with the murder of Rosleny Magdalena in Amsterdam Zuidoost in November last year.

The 28-year-old woman was gunned down on November 17th after she dropped her daughter off at school. The shooting happened on a bridge near Maldenhof. She died at the scene.

On Tuesday the police released camera footage showing that the woman may have been followed by a cyclist that morning. Investigators hope that information from the public will help identify the cyclist - a man on a woman's bike dressed in a rain jacket. The video was released on Opsoring Verzocht.

Previously the police already stated that the woman seemed to have been deliberately targeted. She has no criminal record. The police therefore believe that the murder was the result of a personal conflict and that the woman knew her murderer.
