U2 to play Joshua Tree concert at Amsterdam Arena

U2 is heading back to Amsterdam. The Irish rock band will perform a concert in the Amsterdam Arena on July 29th as part of their tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album The Joshua Tree - the album that took the band to international record levels, AT5 reports.

Tickets for the concert goes on sale on Monday, January 16th.

The Joshua Tree was U2's fifth studio album. It included hits like With or Without You, Where the Streets Have No Name, and I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.

Rumor also has it that U2 will release a new album later this year. The last time the band released new work was in 2014.
